Goose Invasion

I spent the afternoon at Martin Mere Wetland Centre in Lancashire. My other half was at the football (Preston NE), which really isn't my thing, so I aways head here when we're up in Preston for the weekend.

It's that time of year when the geese and swans are massing. The geese here are pink-footed geese and the swans are whooper swans. The geese were just constantly arriving, hence the sky was filled with them.

I think I had a better afternoon, Preston didn't win!
