Furry friends- with attitude!

I saw this little creature crawling alongside a pathway behind our house in Muizenberg earlier today. It was about 8 cm's long and very brightly furry. As insects go, it was pretty awesome and quite a sight. However, it's that time of year when the snakes come out to play and to breed at the Cape, and so this wee beastie was taking a calculated risk in being out and about during the heat of the day...
