Scotland meets Brazil

Iain MacPhail, renowned band leader from Edinburgh, meets Cristiano Bicudo, renowned band leader from São Paulo.
Both were in Macaé to play at the 9th Macaé celidh, organised by the Scots among the Macaé oilmen - and a grand party they put on. Iain has been coming to Brazil for 26 - or is it 27? - years, to play at the Caledonian Ball at the Copacabana Palace Hotel, frequently going on to Petropolis, São Paulo, and even to Buenos Aires. This year there will be a more casual ceilidh in Rio, but next year, we hope to be back in the hotel.
Ceilidh dancing is a big part of our life, so I'm posting this more personal photo - besides, not too many of the others came out, the lighting was too dim for me to see what I was doing!
