Shipworm

This is a brave man trying the local Palawan 'delicacy' of tamilok; the molluscs that burrow into ships' timbers. It's eaten like ceviche with a chilli, lime and vinegar marinade.

I would not normally be one to shy away from random foods but I admit that this one beat me before I tried it.

PS this isn't me even though it may look like it on first glance. In fact someone said in the week that Bojan's (pictured) curls were better than mine. Asian directness in action again!
