Wall

This is one of the walls in our living room, it keeps the inside in and the outside out. I have no idea what type(s) of stone were used to build it. I love this wall, however, we have been told by some people who have visited that it makes the room very dark and that if it were their wall, they would whitewash it. Yes, it does make the room dark but no, I will never paint it or cover it up because it's what makes our flat different to other ones. I can't imagine myself ever living in a newly built flat or house because they're just not wonky enough! Our flat will never be perfect, there will always be windows that don't open fully and squint doors...but that's how I like it!
