Autumn flowers

Sedums, hydrangeas, Japanese anemones and penstemons provide lovely autumnal colours under our dining room window. Much drier today with a few sunny intervals.
At our W.I. Meeting this evening we were entertained by His Majesty King Henry VIII in full costume! Not a ghost but an actor who kept our attention by recalling many of the stories of the famous monarch and his wives.
He was very amusing and fortunately visits many schools - a great way to teach history!
