last day of the fest supplement - seriously busy, tho manageable. followed by end of the fest drinkies plus a leaving do for one of the writers - jim gilchrist, whose final piece as a staffer is well worth reading. though he's going to write a little still, that's (yet another) big gap in the newsroom. saw a couple of people i've not seen in years, chatted with a few i don't normally get to chat to and generally had a good couple of hours.

then C and i went off to see the scottish falsetto sock puppet theatre. it may seem insane to pay a tenner to watch a bloke wave socks around on his hands, but frankly it's some of the best value entertainment i've ever seen on the fringe. pure genius.
