Is it a bird, is it a crane?

It's a crane, but not a bird. Perched here above the big hole in the ground that will be Moorgate Crossrail eventually. The project continues to create ever-changing traffic chaos on Moorgate, but I won't walk past it after March next year when we move to an office on London Wall. The office has space for less people than are to be moved there, which sounds ominous, but in theory will allow me to work from home for at least part of the week.
