Life through the lens...

Not a very good photo, but I am still trying!
He is so fast, and this was taken from the kitchen window.

A bit better day, although no sun, but at least it was fine.

Spent the afternoon gardening. Tidying up, pulling up the runner beans, and nasturtiums, although I have left some as I noticed there were some bees still gathering pollen. Also planted a few bulbs.

We had a very good wine tasting last night.
Enjoyed all the wines, but the best was a red:

Fiore di Vigna Passitivo IGT 2010 Puglia
Made with 100% Primitivo grape. Lovely dark ruby colour, and very yummy and fruity.
Not one you will find in a supermarket, as the tasting was done by a local small retailer.
£8.40 not cheap but good for a weekend wine, and so much better than your usual supermarket £4.99.

Do try and support your local wine shops, or soon there will be none left, and the big boys will have it all their own way!
