The conference went as predicted, all the usual suspects and all the usual garbage.

They took us to the Natural History Museum for the evening which was a hoot. Dinner was delicious and it was very wierd being watched by that huge dinosaur as you ate.

I did as you all suggested and drank far too much. I don't think I said anything I shouldn't have, but I do remember being steered away from one of the directors by a colleague, for which I will be eternally grateful.

Back to the hotel, into the bar where we stayed until 4 o'clock in the morning.

By then I was very, very drunk.
