Ride my seesaw

by the Moody Blues

Thought of naming it "After the Storm", but the rhythm did not fit.

Experienced last night and this morning the worst typhoon to hit Japan in 10 years - luckily inside a sturdy hotel with just the wind gusts against the window. Some highways beside the shore were closed as well as the eleveated railroad connecting the Odaiba island where the congress is held (and my hotel is) to the centre of Tokyo. A lot of water came down, at some places almost 400 mm in two hours!

And then at 9 am the storm centre had passed, and the sun was shining. As you can see, the wind was still quite strong raising water mist from the surface. The congress was re-opened at noon, and I had my first presentation just after lunch.
