Windblown Ash

Rubbish weather this morning, rain and cloud. Then it brightened up but got very windy.

I was feeling in an abstract kind of mood, so I stacked a polariser and an ND filter in front of the lens to get a nice long exposure, stuck the camera on the tripod, and waited to see what a four-second exposure of the wind blowing the leaves of the ash tree in our garden would look like. Turns out it looks like this. A bit Cocteaus/4AD.
