Lucky? In This Rain?

What a wet Wednesday. Just never stopped - and it was substantial rain!!

"Lucky" is a steel sculpture in Centre Vale Park, Todmorden. In 2011 it gained a reputation for bringing luck to anyone that touched it, and was featured in a Channel 4 Television programme hosted by TV illusionist Derren Brown. People now travel from far and wide to pat "Lucky" on the head and hopefully receive good luck as a result.

Poor Lucky - looked a bit down on his luck today - but I patted his head - just to keep his spirits up.
Polly was not impressed - she's not too keen on getting wet :-)
