Wise, Costello, Ball, Large

There comes a point in the life of every double act when, for any number of reasons, one of the pair thinks about the possibility of going it alone.
Maybe they feel undervalued, just the straight guy, just the feed. Maybe resentment of their partner's popularity eats away at them like a mouse nibbling on a box of cocoa-pops. Or maybe, like a long-married, long-suffering spouse, they have just reached the point where everything that their partner does gets under their skin and irritates them to point of distraction and prompts them to entertain thoughts of battery and murder.

Anyway, the shadow is trying to make it without the hand.

The fool.
