Up to Pitlochry for my mum's 65th birthday. My dad was keen for me to photograph Hercules, his brand new (second hand) 500cc folding bike while my mum was rooting for every flower and plant in the garden. Went for the 50/50 happy medium.

You might not expect a bike named after the son of Zeus to fit in the back of a Fiesta and come in baby blue with front and back shopping baskets but those gods work in mysterious ways.

Over the years my mum and dad have cycled round Europe on a tandem, my dad's survived a 50 foot cliff fall from a mountain bike and has already taken Hercules on some serious off-road action, maybe it's not such a bad name after all.

Actually it is but I'll leave it with a happy ending :)
