Letting it breathe

Still struggling with RNA at work.

Went to a seminar this afternoon - viruses and cancer. Given by an Irish women. Interesting work, it's nice to see that people can be genuinely excited by science. My personal point of view is completely the opposite. I feel demoralized, uninterested and felt like I've been lead down the garden path thinking I could actually get a career in it. My dreams of dog walker by day, pizza delivery guy at night or fish and chip shop owner in la jolla seem more believable at the moment.
