Lilac leaves

I don't recall ever admiring lilac leaves as especially colorful in the fall. In the blip- induced state of visual alertness I came across these nicely endowed leaves of a lilac bush. The background consists of ornamental pear trees. They turn really brilliant colors, but at the very end of autumn. Their leaves don't fall till close to Christmas.
