Berries

Spent part of the morning today painting the outside of the front door. Fortunately it was warm enough to leave the door open until it dried. Despite the fact that I don't like gloss work, much prefer putting emulsion on walls, it doesn't look too bad now. The lovely sunny weather this summer had caused the previous paint to loose all it's shine and looked dull and tired, but it certainly looks refreshed now.

Now I need to find a couple of nice warm dry days to do the frame and surround, and then it will look much better.

Quick, short walk late afternoon to get a photo for today's blip resulted in this shot of red rosehips, and red blackberries (the front door is red!) so its been a red (letter) day today.
