William McKey

During my stay in Downtwon today I met William.

William McKey is 60 years old, jobless and homeless.
Originally from California he was set out as a kid by his parents in Edmonton Canada. Since then he never really came away from the street.
He usually sleeps in a local drop in center.

I experienced William as a very kind and humble person, who seemed to have suffered much in his live. I asked him several times what I could do for him but he friendly denied. In the end all I could do was giving him a long handshake and a smile.
