Primeur

The new wine has started to arrive, and last night the village of Bassan celebrated with red and white primeur, hot chestnuts and a jazz band. My friend Ray was singing with them, the wine flowed all night, dishes of charcuterie and apple pie appeared, and it was a good vibe in the village square packed with most of the inhabitants of Bassan.

I'm so new to photographing anything other than plants in the daytime that I forgot to change the ISO from 200 to deal with the low light - the uplighter you can see was the only illumination. So most of my shots are on too slow a speed and blurred. Ah well, the more mistakes I make, the more I learn, I hope.
