There is a proliferation of 'Dummies' in the main shop windows at the moment. This heralds the 'Autumnal' high fashion season, leading up inevitably to Christmas - How many shopping days left?

The Dummies come in all shapes and sizes, some look incredibly 'alien' and rather sinister. These two - well, make your mind up, the jury is out...

It is a microcosm of modern 'real' life. Are we all Dummies on a grand stage, playing out our various roles. Is it all appearance over substance, ie. what really lies beneath the outer shell. Can we be placed, positioned, controlled by some hidden 'puppateer' ? Usually called politicians, or senior management?
