Life of a bubble maker

Thunder and lightening storm inside!!

First full day in Vegas. Woke up early and I went down to Starbugs on the casino floor to get J her vat of tea and some croissants for breakfast.
Got up and headed out onto the strip towards the Bellagio. Nice to be on something that doesn’t move all the time and with the temperature a bit cooler.
Went into a shopping arcade on the route and got persuaded to go and have a time share talk. J wanted to do it as they were going to give us tickets for the show we wanted to see tonight and a meal for $20 each and 2 hours of our time.

The talk etc. wasn’t too bad and at least we had the excuse that the time share wouldn’t allow us to do the diving holidays we wanted to do when they kept asking us to sign up. We did managed to get then down from $15,000 investment and a $1,100 maintenance fee to $5,500 and a $500 maintenance fee before they gave us our show tickets.

Part of the offer was a load of other vouchers. One being free started as Twin Peaks restaurant near where we sighed up. It was lunch there of a burger and a large beer. Twin Peaks is a smaller version of Hooters so you can image the waitresses. There were plenty of people watching the girly rugby match. Must have been a big game for someone as they were all cheering.

Its not everyday that you see a bar with a small climbing wall in it, but at $10 a climb it’s a bit too steep for me (pun intended)

From there we went to get the show tickets sorted and book a table for dinner. One of the places on offer was Pampas in the shopping centre attached to Planet Hollywood. To get there you had to go through the mall, which has as thunderstorm every 15 minutes into this pond. It includes thunder and lightening as well. Only in Vegas.

Back to the room for a bit of a rest before going out for dinner. Pampas is an all you can eat Brazilian meat place where they come around with different meat on skewers and just cut what you want at your table.

The Vegas show was good fun, charting the history of Vegas by singing the songs of most of the famous people who have played there over the years.

Great night for just a couple of hours saying no a few times.
