Pictures at an exhibition

Beryl and I popped into see the Peter Doig show at the National Gallery and it left me feeling a wee bit depressed.

I wanted to like it but overall I felt it was all a bit joyless - lots of big canvases, well managed galleries, loads of tropical colour but all a bit soulless for my taste.

You cant win them all I suppose.
