Steam engine

Steam powered engine that pumped water to north London. 1000 horse power, stands 60ft high, weighs 800 tons. Smaller and less powerful than the two that were on board the Titanic, I believe. Amazing to see a machine this big running - quietly.

At Kempton Steam Museum, worth a visit on a day that they operate the engine.
