A walk on the beach...

Had a long chat with a lovely guy from Kashmir today while buying a beautiful silver ring. He gave me, my son and my gorgeous friend M a little Quran each. He was so informed and genuine about his religion and his beliefs. As we thanked him he smiled broadly and said - this is why we are here, to care for each other, to share our beliefs and be good to each other. Clearly this young man should be running a country, not a small tat shop in a lesser used mall in Shatti - he has more sense than most religious leaders, politicians and statesmen in any government anywhere in the world! (That is as about as political as I get...sorry for the rant.)
