Making Christmas Cake

I haven't done it for a year or two, but this year I decided they were both big enough to give me a hand. I think they both enjoyed it, but William laughed when in answer to his question "When can we eat the Christmas cake Mummy?" I obviously replied "Christmas!". So I took pity and made them some banana, blueberry and cinnamon muffins while they were out getting wet and muddy in the woods with Daddy.

Other than that we haven't done much. I had a lovely lie in this morning, slept through my internal alarm of 8am, so we were too late for Church. But as Jim said I must have needed it and I guess that is true as I am still tired now.
