Baking

My Mum made a cake today for me to take in to work tomorrow. I don't know how widespread this tradition is but at my firm you bring a cake on your birthday. Mine isn't until Thursday but as Mum is going into hospital on Tuesday for an operation we decided to get the cake done today and I'll take it in early.
