Autumn Leaves

It's been an eventful weekend. Yesterday's Dragonboat Regatta was followed by an evening of celebration with team members and families.

Today there were household and garden chores to do after breakfast, the continuation of a project with a friend in late afternoon, and then another friend over for dinner and cards in the evening.

Around lunch time, though, I was able to get out for a long refreshing walk on the river. It was cloudy but the temperature was quite mild for fall and the air had that crisp autumn quality that encouraged deep breathing.
