How many varieties of apple do you know?

The Apple Festival at Brogdale Farm (home of the National Fruit Collection) is a must-see event if you're a fan of tasty apples. We bought two big bags of pick n mix apples but I'll never be able to put the right names to the different apples. In the display there were over 600 varieties.

I discovered a couple of tasty varieties to buy today: Ribston Pippin and Oranje de Sonnaville as well as my usual russets and coxes.

The parking on the wet field was a challenge. We timed our exit well and made it home before the rain lashed down.
