Sap

We got a number of good shots today, mostly of a wee boy, but on our way home we saw a couple of awesome things. The first was a huge cloud of tree pollen being released. It looked like mustard gas and we were so busy looking that we forgot to try and take a photo. The second was of this tree which had burst and was leaking some wonderful red sap. It had already crystallised and was hard like a boiled sweet, but further up we could see more running down.
