If you encounter an emergency vehicle with its blue lights illuminated and sirens activated, you may need to make room for them to pass safely.

It is important to keep calm; look for a safe place to pull into (if necessary); signal clearly that you are pulling over and ensure the emergency vehicle will be able to safely pass you (e.g. don't stop on a bend). You should also stay within the rules of safe driving and the law.
