Bees responsible?

We have lived here for 12 seasons. We have never had so many apples on the small tree in the foreground (green apples) and I don't remember having had more red apples on the tree behind it. We also had more plums than ever before.

I can only think it has something to do with the bees who arrived just as the apple blossom started and after the dandelion main crop. Need to remember how bad the spring & early summer was. The fruit trees are in a more than sub-optimal position.
