Growing

I'm reading the wonderful series of interviews the poet Denis O'Driscoll did with Seamus Heaney called Stepping Stones. It's the nearest we have to autobiograhy of 'famous Seamus'. I'm loving it.Will have to cave in on the book buying ban and buy myself a copy.
Heaney says : " the early in life experience has been central to me-----you have to find a way to reach it, and touch it. But once you do it's like putting your hand into a nest and finding something begining to hatch in your head "
I don't believe I've ever heard the creative process articulated so clearly before. Wanted to share it.
