dead leaves on the dirty ground

This photo of autumn leaves lying on the ground was taken on my lunch break from work. I nearly carried on on walking, but something about these leaves caught my eye. The range of colours and the way they were lying on the ground looks as if they have been deliberately posed. I'm sure they will have blown away by the time I pass this spot again tomorrow.
