1855 Building

This photo was taken at lunchtime and the morning must still hangs over the Halifax hillside.

The building, designed by Thomas Butterworth, opened in 1855 was known as Halifax Old Station. It currently houses a children's nursery associated with Eureka! the childrens' museum.

The current Halifax station is immediately behind this rather grand Grade II listed building.
