The Garden Colour Wheel October Style

The leaves blowing around the back garden this evening looked increasingly monotone but when you collect a few you do start to appreciate what an amazing range of colours are there. Some are quite well decayed now, others have literally just fallen. Today's weather certainly has been encouraging the leaf fall.

Annie was working in Leeds today (she drove up last night) and has had a long commute down to Bristol this evening. Whilst she piled on the miles, I (Chris) had this evening's camera club competition, round 2 of an annual league. I had three images in, two former blips. Scoring was very tough and the standard was high tonight but I came away with 18, 17 and 15 so not too bad overall. The winning images in the two categories were great and overall I saw plenty of new ideas for inspiration.
