Culture Day

Took a while to be able to pick one image to sum up Culture Day. Finally settled on this, from the Dark Wood event from Vision Mechanics - walking through Sanquhar Wood in Forres, in the (very) dark, accompanied by a storyteller who bewitched children & adults alike with a story of giants, forest animals and magic wishes. The events at the Giants in the Forest locations in Mull & Peebles are coming up - if you can scare up some tickets - GO!

There were so many exciting things on this day - from Forres, Kinloss & Findhorn - dancing on Findhorn Bay's pier, drama & mayhem in public parks in Forres, Macbeth on the move, workshops throughout the Findhorn Foundation and a real sense of excitement.

The image shows part of a statement - we are all children, that in our dreams, our future embrace. Embracing the future sums up the attitude of Moray's creative sector, bringing their dreams to life.
