Gloves Off

Gloves Off

It seems that it is going to be a 'Winter of Discontent' in terms of industrial action at a lot of organisations. The recession is now beginning to bite. The Post Office have been sold off for next to nothing to the Private Sector; employees have taken their shares; and now just have to wait for their inevitable 'down sizing' operations - by the teams of highly paid consultants that will be brought in as hatchet men and girls. They are going on strike - so watch this space. Universities and the UCU are taken coordinated strike action at the end of October - watch this space. Politicians are all squabbling over energy prices and possible strategies to win votes - watch this space; the public are subject to a campaign to frighten the living daylights out of them because the lights are due to go out, heralding the reintroduction of nuclear reactors on a tiny tiny Island; draw your own conclusions and watch this space - and hope we don't get a Tsunami.

So - Winter is coming and the gloves are off....
