Don't be deceived

Looks like summer in this little corner of my garden - but peer up and tree crowns shimmer copper and gold; glance down and the grass is littered with fallen apples.

Autumn is here, but we've been blessed with a couple warm and sunny days. The storm that blew through last night brought down trees and electrical wires, wrecking havoc on morning commutes, but did little to thwart the temperatures, which remained fairly mild.

Another day in the office. This evening the men of my house all took off for an extended weekend in Hamburg, leaving me and the girls to get into trouble all on our own ;) What mischief awaits?!
