Nor'wester Seascape

This morning's dramatic clouds over Whitewash Head were the forerunner of a very active northwest weather pattern that is sweeping onto New Zealand from the Tasman Sea. There are high gales forecast for the inland Canterbury High Country later today - and by the look of the brooding clouds that are hanging over the Southern Alps right now at midday, I think those gales will have arrived already. It looks ominous.
This image is much more dramatic Large

I seem to be all over the place with uploading my blips - late last night/Tuesday and now it's only midday Wednesday!
