Dog Tired

Well, I've posted photos recently of Bogan & Kelso, so it is definitely Dixie Chick's turn.

She is the queen of the house, she who must be obeyed. She is a 13 1/2 year old Chesapeake Bay retriever, a close relative of the more popular Labrador retriever. Chessies are a tougher breed, with great stamina and minds of their own. When it comes to training, experts say: "you can order a lab, you can ask a golden, but you must negotiate with a Chessie."

Dixie Chick is a certified therapy dog, which means I can take her into hospitals, nursing homes and libraries to interact with people.

She is our sweet girl and the Wolfhounds recognize her as the boss of the house.
