Beautiful autumn morning

Same dog - stopped in her tracks by a distant barking.

Different field - this one, down near the river, showing evidence of all that recent rain.

Today's reprieve, I believe, is to be short-lived - more heavy rain forecast for tomorrow and the coming few days. Humph!
