'Love' at the Water's Edge

Well, not love exactly, but you know what I mean. Even in late October, dragonflies emerge on warm(ish) sunny days. As winter draws near, they get down to the business of mating.

This is a mating pair of Common Darters, taken with my trusty 24-105mm lens, hence the poor quality because I couldn't get closer and this photo is heavily cropped. I didn't have my long lens with me.
