Haikography

Golden Gowns

A looking glass world,
Where trees may admire themselves,
In their golden gowns.

It really was a looking glass world today ... from the grey and murk of the past few days to glorious autumn sunshine. The blue sky reflected in the water turned the lake from muddy brown to a wonderful mirror for the autumn trees. Made me smile!

If you look in large you can see a couple of ducks landing at the far end of the lake.

In other news, looking back at my year ago blip, I realise that today is my 365th haiku/poem of some sort in a row. A whole year of writing a poem a day! So a sort of unofficial balloon day for me!!
