Playful

This little guy was busy collecting food for the winter this evening. I started taking pictures of him from a distance and slowly walked towards him. When I got about 6 feet away, he ran around the tree, poked his head out looked at me for a second, then did it again and again.

He was a little too fast for me to capture a decent shot. When I tried to move to a better position, he ran up and sat on what is left of an old branch. I did blip this earlier but took it down because an hour later I got a shot of this same squirrel sitting on the fence post backlit by the sun...
