Buchaille Etive Mhor

Had to drive to Glencoe and back today on church business. What a drive! I can never travel the Glencoe road without wanting to be out of the car and onto the hills, and never more so than on a day like this. Some of the most exciting and exhilarating experiences of my whole life have taken place here - first rock-climbing, complete with rope (Curved Ridge + Crowberry Tower), the traverse of the Aonach Eagach, which I waited till my 50s to do, the ascent of Stob Coire nan Lochan, the sight of a Brocken Spectre from the summit ridge of Bidean nam Bian.

Today, I was merely driving. But I had time to stop and take a few photos. Of course.
