Snap!

'Spotted' this on my way home, the stem had been snapped (or had maybe given way of its own accord).

The builders installed the new stairway today, as expected there was a lot of dust, but to my great relief they'd taken their rubble and rubbish away with them.
All the planning that has gone into this conversion, parental worries, and being a little over-tired left me feeling a little fragile later in the evening.
Thankfully my lovely partner was there for me at the end of a Skype connection, which was very reassuring!
