Impressions

This display of floral loveliness sits outside a window of the Potting Shed restaurant in Applecross.
The weather was very kind on this trip, with the rain keeping itself to when I was inside or asleep and in this case it was helpful for this weeks blip challenge of "Pastel."
At that stage I didn't know this would be the theme and I used a generous exposure and the rainy window to get an impressionist feel for the flowers. The additional light and depth of field really softened the colours and I think make it suitable for the theme. I had other ideas for Pastel, but so far, I much prefer this shot.
