Money

Todays challenge topic, MONEY;
I'm not a betting person by any stretch!
But...I'm betting any amount of money that you will like this blip as much as I enjoyed taking it! How could you not!!
In fact I would say this cuddly koala from Yanchep Park is priceless..
There are about 8-10 koalas living in their own habitat in the park, they only eat one specific eucalyptus leaf, even though they are surrounded by many varieties of eucalypts, the koala only thrive on one of the leaves which is brought in from outside the park, and placed in containers amongst the trees they sleep in.
They are mostly sedentary animals and can sleep up to 20 hours a day.
Its a special treat for us when we are in the right place at the right time, we caught this one feeding just before we left the park.
They carry their young in the pouch much like the kangaroo, although no relation, their closest relative is the wombat.
Not a kookaburra insight tonight!!
I had a nice relaxing day today, after a very busy week...

Speaking of money, my Mother & Father in-law (who I'm extremely fond of) have just put their Edwardian style house, which overlooks the local park on the property market, they have lived there for over 63 years! They raised 3 fine sons in this home, they have now decided to move down South closer to their eldest Son and his family, their youngest Son lives in Seeheim, Germany with his family, their middle son (my Glyn) lives here in W.A with all our family.
We can't blame them at all for wanting to move closer to family at ages 85 & 86 and both still fit enough to enjoy their adult grandchildren and great grandchildren and experience another life other than living in the North of England where they have lived most of their lives, we wish them all the luck in the world, and a speedy house sale!! But we shall miss the old family home. there are some very special memories there....
