Jigsaw of Gupshill Manor, Tewkesbury

This is the jigsaw that I have now completed :-) I have actually done it a couple of times before, but it is one of my favourites - shows how flower beds used to be before all the green/non-colour emphasis came in! This place now has hedges where all the lovely flowers used to be (found an up-to-date photo on the internet). Easier to care for I guess!

The car won't start at all today, which is rather annoying as we wanted to go and buy Polyfilla (the tub we had in the shed has gone hard). We're doing a bit of painting in the utility room and downstairs shower room. The paint has all flaked off one of the pipes in there and I have scraped it off/sandpapered it down ready for Stuart to paint and he was also going to fill in the cracks which have appeared in the wall and re-paint the wall. It seems a bit of a cheek to ask someone to take me to go and get polyfilla - there is a shop about a mile away, so I might walk there tomorrow (didn't have the energy today).

We also got the plastic garden table into the garage and put away some lightweight garden ornaments in case the threatened storm does arrive on Monday. It sounds a bit weird - they knew it was coming in this general direction before it formed and the jet stream is going to shoot it either across us or France. Possible winds of around 80 mph along our coast! So a few trees could come down etc. Such fun! Anyway, today's been quite mild and fairly sunny.
